A Chicago native, Shola moved to the Washington, D.C. area after receiving his Bachelors of Fine Art Degree from Northern Illinois University's School of Art and Design.  From working with startups to working with established institutions with decades of history, Shola's creative process is flexible, ever evolving to meet client needs and visions.  He recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all formula for success.

After fifteen years in the industry, graduating from Johns Hopkins University Carey Business School. Shola founded ABIDA Design, a creative advisory consulting group.  ABIDA Design works to propel each client's story forward, connecting their brands to their audiences.  Each assignment is unique and is measured against its own individual set of objectives, and the results are always the same, visually compelling stories that solve problems.

When Shola is not consulting, he can be found working on DIY projects, attending music concerts or festivals, traveling, hiking, or exploring local cuisine.
